Well, it's been quite some time since I physically harmed myself so I guess I was overdue for a little Oopsie/Arrgh, my eye!
Was working with wire last night making these little star wand things which will hopefullymake little kids whine until their parents buy them one draw attention to my booth at future shows. I twisted one end, and the other came up, behind my glasses, and yep, got me in the eye.
So, off I went to the eye doctor this morning where I was told it was just a scratch, not a puncture, but let me put this dye in to make sure you're not leaking any fluids. Great.
He also checked my pressures while I was there. I'm still hovering around 20. Not too bad.
Decided to skip out on work (wire in the eye is a great excuse btw) and went shopping. Managed to resist Legolas Ken and Poison Ivy Barbie. Also resisted getting a package of temporary Justice League tattoos. It had the Bat emblem, but I was strong... until I got to the comic store. Ah, sweet, sweet comics. *g*

Oww My eye! I'm not supposed to get Pudding in it!
Hey,
Glad to year you didn't go the way of Scott Summers. Hope you feel okay!
And yeah, I went on a bit of a comic-related splash-up yesterday. Grabbed THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD: "Climate of Fear" collection, the last X-STATIX collection (*hated* issue 26, the final one) and a one-off F13TH comic from New Line Cinema...

Bet you never thought you'd be able to use that particular Simpson's quote. Glad I could be of service. ;D

Yes, that one was a hard one to work in to regular conversation. Now I just need to cross off "I wash myself with a rag on a stick", "When I grow up I wanna be a Principal or a Caterpillar" and "Everything's coming up Milhouse!" *g*
