(no subject)

The show did not go as well as it could have. I made enough to pay for the entry fee and food, so it wasn't a total loss.

Ugh. God. It was so damn hot.

Met a guy who did some amazing wood carvings and metal sculptures.

Attended my first (and only) lawnmower race. Watched in horrid fascination as a bunch of rednecks on souped up lawnmowers raced around a tiny track. One guy ran another guy into a hay bale. I liked that part.

Even after slathering myself with 48 sunblock, for the first time in years, I have a tan. It's not much of a tan, but I'm definitly not my regular pallid self anymore. Do you have any idea how bad black lipstick looks on healthy, glowing skin? *sigh* stupid sun.

At least you tan. It could be worse. You could have a horrid sunburn.

What's really odd is when I was young and stupid and actually
tried to tan, it never happened. I would go from
paper white to lobster red.

It could be worse. You could have a horrid sunburn.

Well, my neck has turned quite red, but I think that
has more to do with being exposed to the lawnmower races
than the sun. ;D

Being of tanned skin, I've always been very envious of people who could pull off the black lipstick and pale skin look...perhaps you could try a deep, red-black shiny lipstick?

Oooh, like Vamp, but with gloss. cool. *g*

Hey,

Tan? You mean people in your hemisphere can still go out in the presence of the Fiery Stellar Death Ball?! *g*

Man, I'm so pallid, I sunburn if I watch fireworks...

Gav!
