Got in late last night after spending untold hours in the hell on earth that is Christmas shopping at the mall, and saw a sight that immedately warmed the cold, dead cockles of my over commercialized heart. I rounded the curve in the driveway, and there, past the storage shed, were five deer--one of them, a baby, was laying down taking a nap. *all together now -- AWWWWW*

We just stared at each other for a few minutes, then I slowly got out of the car and started to get my bags, and they slowly started to wander into the woods.

Is... is that holiday spirit I feel? Nah, couldnt be.
