Squee! The trailer for the third Mummy movie is up.

I have had mad love for Brendan Fraiser since School Ties, and of course, John Hannah just rules in everything. Not sure about Maria Bello as Evie, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Is that the reason? I thought it was because she had won an Oscar and didn't want to be associated with the franchise anymore. *rolls eyes* Yeah, and Helen Mirren's not exactly an octogenarian monarch but she managed to come out of The Queen with her vitality intact. It's called ACTING.

Yeah, I enjoyed just about any part of the second that didn't have the kid in it. That precocious, know-it-all crap grates on my last nerve.

I hate kids at the best of times. Precocious movie kids are just *asking* me to grind them into a paste and sell them as cotton candy to the Boogeyman. At least we get a hot 20-something playing the brat this time around. Although a nice Fraser/Hannah fuck scene would also be nice *g*

I did like the Pygmy Mummies in the second one- shame about the CGI Rock Scorpion at the end...
