saoneI got a order for a beaded flower attached to a hair elastic.
It's actually my fault. The person originally wanted a brooch, and as I was asking a few questions, trying to get a feel as to what type of flower/color I was going to use, she mentioned that this was going to be a gift for a fifteen-year-old. I asked if she was sure a brooch was going to be a good fit for a teenager, and I told her that I had been working with incorporating flowers into necklaces and bracelets. So we talked for a bit and somehow ended up on hair ornaments, and she mentioned ponytails, and I mentioned ponytail holders, and she said, "Wow! Can you do that!", and I said, "Er... Sure." And, there you go.
I'm not entirely sure how I'm gonna pull it off, but I've got a few ideas and some fabri-tac. If nothing else it'll definitely keep me busy until the boys come on at nine... I'll probably end up bouncing off the walls anyway though. *g*
