Had an awesome weekend.

I didn't get to see KoH, but I did get a huge stack of comics, and an invite to Wizard World Philly. *bounce*

A friend from high school is an artist with a small, independent company. He was telling me all about last year, and ended with, "you really should come."

So, I'm about 90% of the way to saying yes. It's the first weekend in June and I still have to clear taking that Friday off, but I really, really want to go.

In RL it's so rare that I'm around people who know what I'm talking about when I mention Daniel Jackson, or Nightwing, or the interesting properties of Ruby Quartz glasses. I can just imagine an entire convention hall filled with my people... *BOUNCE*

Of course I'll have to sleep on somebody's floor and spend a total of twelve hours in a car with a bunch of guys, and I did say I would never go to Pilidelphia again... but COMICS! :D
