It's an Elizabeth Bathory action figure!
Quick history - Elizabeth Bathory was a noblewoman in the late 1500s - early 1600s who killed and drained at least six hundred girls and young women so she could bathe in and/or drink their blood. She thought it would keep her looking youthful. (One of history's 'real' vampires, and most notorious mass murderers was a woman. Um... Grrrl power?)
Anyway, I emailed the link to my Mom, just 'cause, you know, it was cool. When I was home for lunch, she came in with a package. "So," She says, "should this be early Christmas or late birthday?"
Holy crap.
Not only had she gotten me one, she had gotten herself one!
I swear, whatever's wrong with me must be hereditary. *eg*
