I think I'm going to have to see Superman Returns.
I know, I know, it's probably going to suck, and it poos on canon, and Kevin Spacey is no Michael Rosenbaum, and I'm probably going to spend the whole movie distracted by Kate Bosworth's forehead, but... I CAN'T HELP IT, the previews look so omgcoolgeekout.
And afterwards I'll make a run by the comic store so I can feel good about myself again.

Anyway, I think the movie will be very enjoyable.

I consider movies/TV/toons to be separate canon.
I'll try to remember that. In fact, I think I might end up using that as my mantra. ;D

Yeah, that also bugged.
Anyway, I think the movie will be very enjoyable.
If nothing else, it will be very pretty to look at. *g*

Date: 2006-07-02 04:37 am (UTC)I'm definitely going to see it, as it's so steeped in Queerness (Singer, Routh, Spacey, Aussie Footballer turned actor Ian Roberts) that it's practically a Gay Film. And even though I'm Spaceyed out right now (he's done one too many smugly superior badniks, IMNSHO) it has my Future Husband #2, Jimmy Marsden in it. Hopefully playing hide the fortress of solitude with Clark *eg*
btw- saw THE CHUMSCRUBBER yesterday. Keen flick, and Jamie Bell's grown up real nice. Also saw CEMETERY GATES- crap script and plot, but the guys are hot, and you can't go wrong with a bear-sized Tassie Devil making ludicrously graphic mincemeat of 18 people in 90 minutes...
