Feline TMI

So, one of the cats got bitten by a snake--King or Black, nothing poisonous--and after a visit to the vet, she now has three great big holes in her side. Why, you ask? Well, two were from fangs, and the third was for a shunt to allow a venom formed abscesses to drain. Notice I used the past tense when describing the shunt? Yeah, that's because she CHEWED IT OUT. Urk. Needless to say, we are going back to the vet this afternoon.

And, of course, the cat's totally pleased with herself. "See, stupid humans, I will not stand for your medical experiemnts! Purrrrrrrrrrrrr."

Look, I'm not saying she complains about you all the time, I'm just saying that you could try and treat her a bit nicer. She's a cat after all, which already makes her 10 times better than any human, to start with!

Now she'll have to wear one of those plastic cones around her head . . . that'll teach her!!!!

the vet doesn't think a plastic cone is necessary. O_o

"Oh, don't worry," she said. "Cat's will chew and worry at things. It's perfectly normal."
