saoneSorry I haven't been around much. Work!drama again. Three people left to form their own company, which happens, and they want to take their clients with them, which makes sense, but they're also trying to foul up the contracts that are on their way to being closed so they can swoop in, put a contract back on and keep all the commission for themselves.
And, we found out that one of the people who left, who was supposed to be handling certain accounts for us, completely fouled them up. The new bookkeeper found over a thousand dollars cash in an unlocked drawer. Oh, and some contractors are hopping mad, wanting to know why they haven't gotten paid since April. O_o
The boss is handling things rather well. He wants to redecorate the office, which is good. A fresh coat of paint, and all that. I just have to be with him every step of the way to make sure he doesn't choose something that would blind clients before they get through the outer office. In fact, we're planning an excursion this afternoon toargue over look at flooring. Joy.
One thing that does make me happy from all this is that their new sign is atrocious. The word that describes what they do is printed in YELLOW. On a white background. It may be petty as hell, but boy, does that make me smile. *eg*
Glad to see lj hasn't really imploded, and when I'm in a mood to post fannish things again, it'll still be here. I've been obsessively watching Supernatural episodes as therapy--is it weird that I keep going back to the scene where faux!Dean tears off all his skin--so, who knows. :)

Anyway, glad you and boss are being accepting of the situation; even to the point of making changes around the office.
