Oh my lord, what a craptastic week.
It started last Tuesday with my brakes going kaplooey on the way home--I did manage to get to a service station before they faded completely--and kept going early Wednesday morning when I got an ambulance ride to the hospital for what everyone (including my GP) was sure was appendicitis. Good news, it wasn't my appendix. Bad news, I've got kidney stones. Kidney stones. Two of them, in fact. Both 5mm, one in each kidney. Damn my obsessive addiction to symmetry!
But, seriously, kidney stones! I know I just hit thirty, and I'm getting older, and blah, blah, wrinkle cream-cakes, but c'mon! C'mon!!!
And, because of all the time I spent at the hospital and loopy from the first round of pain medicine, I am sooooo far behind in my Jensen/Jared Tremors fic. I'm still shooting for having it all done by Wednesday, but it's looking pretty iffy at the moment. :/

Date: 2007-08-20 05:40 pm (UTC)Glad to hear you're okay and it wasn't your vestigial viscera that was the problem. Hope you feel better soon. My advice to feel good- write some Xander/Graham after the Supernatural/Tremors. Well, that would make *me* feel good anyway...*g*

Date: 2007-08-21 04:59 pm (UTC)Hee!
You could do a sequel to A STRANGE-ATTRACTION, only with Xander out of commish in the hospital and Graham coming to visit!
:sends rabid plot bunny at you:

Date: 2007-08-21 07:47 pm (UTC)Sounds kind of awesome and Star Trekie, doesn't it? *g* It's a machine that uses sound waves to break up the stones. It takes about an hour, and I might not even have to be put all the way under for it.
I feel lots better now. Yay for happy drugs! ;D

Date: 2007-08-21 07:54 pm (UTC)I'm going to have to lay still and be bombarded by soundwaves for about an hour. The doctor's decided to not even put me all the way under. I believe his exact words were "We'll just give you a sedative, and a local. You look like someone who can handle a little pain." O_o Thanks... I guess...
*hugs*
