For some reason I tend to like eves more than the actual day the eves lead up to. Everything seems possible on an eve, you know?

Hope everyone in this hemisphere has a happy, and safe night. For those of you on the other side of the world, how's 2010 shaping up?

I tend to get depressed on New Year's actually. Perth is even deader than usual on Dec 31st; I hear about all my friends OS partying and stuff, and get very irked that all Perth's shops/clubs etc close at 10pm....

There's usually something going on somewhere around here, but hanging out with a bunch of drunk strangers lost it's appeal sometime in my twenties. Tonight was a few people, a Twilight Zone marathon, and more rum and cokes than I would like to admit (I'm actually surprised I'm this coherent right now. Of course it's taking a long damn time to type this. Thank god for spell check). Cheers, 2010, you'd better not suck.

Heh. I actually had a good time wrapping myself up in my original slash fandom and reading several hours worth of Mulder/Krycek fic...
