losers_minibang but instead all I can focus on is this movie/movie/comic fusion crossover idea, and I'm hoping that by posting this snippet I can get it out of my head jfc...
In the end it comes down to instinct.
Jensen doesn't even realize he's moving until he's halfway across the roof, the next-gen rocket that Max just launched getting smaller and smaller the further it goes. His legs are pumping and shouts - from both his team and Max's goons - are echoing in his ears. The shots start as he reaches the parapet and someone screams, then he's over the side and falling.
Wind rushes past him as he freefalls. Jensen knows he only has seconds before he completely ruins the day of some poor souls on the street below. The power is there, still locked up tight in it's little box deep in Jensen's mind, in his soul. It's been untried, and untested for years, but it's still there. Waiting. Burning.
Jensen thinks about his friends and his family. He thinks about the people wherever that rocket is headed. He thinks about twenty-five innocent children in Bolivia.
The box opens.
Jensen closes his eyes and whispers, "flame on."

He and Julian McMahon were pretty much the only reasons to watch the FF movies...And the only ones having fun!
