Just in case anyone hasn't see this yet, EW has the first (almost full length) shot of Chris Evans in his Captain America gear.

And now that I've gotten the shallowness out of the way, I have to say that, except for those little wings on the helmet, I like it. It looks classic, but functional, like what you'd imagine a superhero outfit from WWII to look like.

I'm feeling hopeful, regardless of the whole trailer debacle. :D



Okay, now I want a crossover where Steve is actually Jensen's long lost grandfather, and when he gets unfrozen and find out what happened to his family he gets pissed.

I actually meant Losers Jensen instead of Jensen Jensen, so it would actually be Chris Evans squared. But part of me wants to do something with your idea too just for the sheer prettiness of the two of them together. ;D

Yes the thighs are impressive- I was also impressed with the area a little higher up. Also approve how they've dialed down the costume a bit so that international audiences won't roll their eyes at the jingoism quite so much :)

Actually, they didn't dial anything down - that's pretty much the classic costume, minus a few stripes around the middle and obviously translated into reality instead of two dimensional form. Besides, he is called Captain America, so no one should complain about being taken in by false advertising.
