Why? Oh, why?

I thought the whole point of going with the costume that debuted in WW #600 was to get away from the bustier/primary color thing. I only read two issues of the new improved WW, but the shading on the top - which had straps! - came off as much darker, and the pants were black. The comic version also wears a cropped leather jacket. *gasp*

This is... this is so bad. Not to mention cheap. And shiny.

Even the Linda Carter costume would have been better. IMO. I would rather see star-spangled hot pants than shiny latex leggings.

I quite like wonder woman, she was strong and noble and kinda kick ass, I just wish that they'd stop pandering to the male audience and just make an awesome female superhero who was awesome in her own right!! sorry my feminist soap box has been getting a good running lately :0)

I loved Wonder Woman, until the new creative team took hold anyway. How she was an ambassador for peace, but would throw down if there were no other options. How she was Batman and Superman's equal and could kick both their asses if need be. How she started out as such a misogynistic character, but grew into such an amazing icon for female empowerment, even when wearing the short-shorts. ;)

I had kind of decided not to get my hopes up regarding the tv show, but I still expected more than that.

I wish they'd go with something more like the outfit for the alternate WW in the Crossing Worlds run of Planetary. White would be hard to pull off, but at least it'd kind of bring more of a Greek warrior goddess vibe. Plus, it matched the bracelets and the lasso! ;D
Poor Adrianne o_o - you just know there were, like, a bunch of different people - producers, studio bosses, focus groups, etc. - all discussing her and the costume and arguing and compromising and trying to figure out what'll boost ratings:(
