Argh! The sunlight; it burns!

Jeez, it feels like I just emerged from a cave. A cave where I managed to write almost 20,000 words of Lake Placid-based J2 fic. \o/

If I wasn't so tired, I think I'd have to do a Snoopy Dance.

So, anyone feel like taking a look? I know I've probably got some grammar issues, especially in the home-stretch section, but mainly I just want to make sure that this monster is coherent and not one great big, huge mess. Also, I'd love if someone who hasn't seen the movie could take a look and see if they can follow the story. Lake Placid is one of my favorite movies, and I want to make sure that I didn't use my many repeated viewings as a crutch to skimp out on integral parts of the story.

If anyone's interested, let me know, and I'll send the fic out... After I take a long nap. ;)

If you like silly/schlocky/campy monster movies that almost hearken back to the '50s creature features, then you should try and check it out. Plus it's got Bill Pullman, and Brendan Gleason, and Betty White being all fabulous and vulgar. ;)
