I fell in love all over again watching Ironman and the Captain America. With the Avengers Whedon got me right in the heart. I may never get out form under Marvel fandom again. I even started buying comics again since I discovered Marvel has gone digital!

As a mainly DC girl, my comic love took a major hit when they did their reboot last September. But after seeing The Avengers, the first place I went after the movie was my comic shop. Which had already closed for the day. *shakes fist* Oh, cruel fate! ;P

I live out in the middle of no where ( almost literally) so Comic bookstores aren't really on my radar anymore.
I don't know about DC comics so much Marvel has a vast selection of digital titles available, especially older titles.

Sad to say I haven't heard a lot of good things about the reboot :|

It takes about an hour to get to my comic shop, but I'm in the country so I'm used to having to travel to get to cool stuff. ;)

Ugh, it's just... Blergh. One of the things that drew me into comics was the history and mythology that's been built upon for decades, and after about twelve years of me becoming enamored of all these wonderful (depending on the writer) characters the PTB at DC decided to change or flat out erase all of that history and mythology because they wanted to attract new readers, and, you know, screw all the loyal customers.

Huh. Yeah, I guess I am still the teensiest bit bitter. :/

Yeah I get that. I'm still technically off the wagon on those. But I still read the other stuff (Fables, Invincible, etc). I leave the hubby to keep me kinda sorta updated with DC and Marvel.
