I cared about Bucky because I'm shallow and Sebastian Stan is hot ;), and also because I was hoping they'd do the Winter Solider story in one of the later movies. \o/
Sebastian Stan is on TV kissing boys this summer .... and now the WINTER SOLDIER will be on my movie screen!!!
Yesssssss. And I'm also hoping that Sebastian will be in at least a couple of eps of Once Upon a Time this upcoming season too. :)
Now if only the Ant Man movie could be turned into a Hawkeye/Black Widow story instead. *_*
They can do Ant Man but only because it's being directed by Edgar Wright, and if there is the slightest, possible chance of Simon Pegg being pulled into the Marvel universe, I'm all for it. :D
And, unfortunately, instead of a Black Widow/Hawkeye movie, I think we're going to get a Nicky Fury movie with Black Widow and Hawkeye guest-starring. But I am wondering if the two of them might show up in CA 2 since Natasha and Bucky have a history in the comics.
You know what? Screw it, I don't care what we get, I just want more Marvel movies NOW!!!!
Every time I look at those premiere dates, I'm just .... I don't even know WHAT the planet will even be like then.
2014? Will we all be cyborg? Will Google own all of the internet not owned by Apple? Will the economy still be working? Will we have healthcare? Will cyborgs have healthcare?
We KNOW how fast twitter and tumblr took over all media. O.o I can't begin to guess what's coming culture-wise, and I want these stories NOW, while things are less terrible than they could be and I can appreciate my lovely, relatively untarnished (for now) Marvel fandom!
I'm hanging my hopes on the deleted scenes and extras when Avengers is out on DVD. I foresee many watching parties to come. ^__^

I'm still upset that the only commentary we're going to get is Joss' - I wanted at least RDJ and Tom. Here's hoping that in the quest to squeeze as much money out of us as possible, Marvel will release a Lord of the Rings style extended edition dvd/blu ray just in time for the holidays. ;)

Iron Man 3 will be out next spring, Thor 2 is scheduled for November 2013, but Cap won't be back until April 2014. Ugh. We'd better at least have some cameos, dammit.
