Please tell me someone else realized that the reason Cross needed the blue pills so badly was because he had suffered a severe brain injury while he was in the Army. I didn't think it was that subtle.

I just figured that he would die from withdrawal if he didn't take the pills. But I see what you mean about the brain injury.

I think I need to watch it again cuz when they hit Manila I just kept trying to figure out where in the city they were exactly so I missed some stuff. Hahaha!

Well, there was that line when he was talking to Marta about how withdrawl wouldn't be pretty. But then he showed her the site that listed him as K.I.A. and he said something about IQ that I didn't pick up on, and then we saw the flashback to him beat to hell with the white cap covering some kind of head injury, and it was like ahhhhh.

I guess I'm a little peeved since it seems like every review I had read mentioned something snarky about Cross' 'unnecessary' drug habit. C'mon, film critics! Geez.
