Inspiration!

I have decided to stop feeling all sorry for myself, even though it's going to be hell to clean up all the plaster and what people at the turn of the last century thought would make good insulation, and then of course I'm going to have to do a regular cleaning of my room, but I digress...
Anyway, I'm thinking that will most everything boxed up and/or covered by dropcloths it would be a perfect time for me to do a little painting. The woodwork's been the same color for over twenty years, yeah, I think it's time for a change. Before long I'll be haunting the paint asle at Wal-Mart, debating techniques and brushes, and of course the all important question - should I go for the satin finish?
Before long I'll be taping all the daytime decorating shows on the Discovery channel and making sofa pillows with fabric remnants and duct tape!
Or... not.
But, admit it, I had some of you worried for a few seconds there, right? *eg*
