saoneSpent the winter being all auburny, now I'm back to 'Intense Copper'. And, I realized that it's been ten years, give or take a month, since I made the switch to various shades of red.
Ah, I can still remember the first pre-dye conversation with my mother...
Mom: Why do you want to do this? You have such beautiful blonde hair!
Me: It's not blonde, it's brown.
Mom: It's ash blonde!
Me: It's brown.
Mom: It's dark blonde!
Me: It's brown.
Mom: Some people pay a lot of money to get their hair to look like yours!
Me: That's nice for them.
Mom: But it's your natural color!
Me: Exactly!
I think somewhere along the line she finally realized I wanted a CHANGE - all caps - from the me I had been for the past seventeen years.
Of course if the haircolor didn't clue her in the eyebrow ring surely did. *eg*
Wow. It's been almost ten years since I had my eyebrow pierced. Now, that just makes me feel old. :)
