Mar. 31st, 2005 12:54 pmUrgh.
Absolutely horrid morning.
I had taken a day of vacation yesterday to do some shopping, and have some fun, and generally just enjoy the hell out a really beautiful day.
I got into the office this morning and discovered that somebody decided my desk was too messy, and that it fell to her to 'tidy' it.
*makes indecipherable sounds of rage*
Basically, she rearranged the placement of all the normal office stuff, like my calender, stapler, and floppy disks, she took all the papers and files that I had in separate places *for a reason* and combined them into one great big stack (which means I'm going to have to go through this huge mess to try to find the invoices that are supposed to go out today), and she threw away the things I obviously didn't need, like all these post-its that were cluttering up my workspace.
She threw away my post-its.
She THREW AWAY my POST-ITS!
*makes more indecipherable sounds of rage*
Anyone who works in an office knows you don't throw away another person's post-its. Ever.
There were passwords, and user names, and emails, and verification numbers, and Jesus Fucking Christ, you DO NOT throw out post-its!!!
*The Mangled Menace slinks back to her cave-like cubicle and wonders if her 'strange arcane magical powers' can be used to bring back dead post-its*

W.T.F?
Date: 2005-03-31 11:46 pm (UTC)Wow. I feel for you, dear. Better yet, I'll testify on your behalf... should it become necessary...
(she threw away post-its? with obviously important things written on them? that were not hers? I cannot get over that.)
Re: W.T.F?
Date: 2005-04-01 02:32 pm (UTC)Neither. Just occasionally bound to fits of incredible anal-ness. And woe to anything that is out of place when she goes on a 'straightening' rampage.

Thanks. I might just take you up on that. *g*

Boggles the mind, doesn't it?

Date: 2005-04-01 02:28 pm (UTC)Oh, I know who it was. And besides, she admitted it. I believe her exact words were "I know you resent me cleaning your desk, but I resent having to do it!" *head explodey*

Date: 2005-04-01 05:21 am (UTC)Hey,
You don't throw away post-its unless you're declaring war! Want me to kill
her for you, or have you got it covered?!
Gav!

Nah, don't kill her. If she died I'd get stuck doing all her work in addition to mine. There are fates worse than death, and that is one of them.
But thanks for the offer! :D

Okay then. But can I at least maul her a little?!

Date: 2005-04-01 02:23 pm (UTC)Yeah, I know. The only good part about the whole experience was that I got to be righteously indignant for the rest of the day. *eg* That was fun.
