Also, New Line has acquired the rights to Meg. Why should you care? Because it's based on a novel about a gigantic, prehistoric shark swimming around and eating people.
Actually, *puts on snooty voice* I've read the book. And the sequel, 'The Trench', and as soon as the third, 'MEG: Primal Waters', comes out in paperback I'm gonna snatch that one up too. *bg* I'm just slightly obsessed.
I'm glad this is finally getting made. It was first supposed to get done around the time of 'Deep Blue Sea', but it got put off for some reason. But, this is good. The world needs more giant shark movies, dammit!
