Sep. 9th, 2002 01:30 pmWell, the show is over. I'm reasonably happy with how I did. I could have done better, but then again, I could have done much, much worse.
I was pleased at some of the pieces that were sold, some of the more unusual, different kind of pieces. It's always so cool when someone's just walking around, randomly looking at stuff, and then they see something on my table and their entire face just sort of lights up. This complete stranger just instantly connects with something I made. Gives me warm fuzzies.
Another warm fuzzy moment came when this girl, in maybe her mid teens, came up and started gushing about how much she loved this necklace she bought from me last year. She ended with "And I've had it a year but I *still* wear it!", which, I guess, in teenspeak, means she really *really* likes it.
I also managed to get a little of my Christmas shopping done.
j_crew_guy will be happy to know that I resisted buying him a plaque that had carved pumpkins surrounding the phrase "It's Fall, Y'all!" See, I'm not as evil as some people might think. *g*

And I still think you're the queen of evil.
