saoneMom has to have another does of IV medication for her arthritis tomorrow, and I'm accompanying her 'cause I'm still being iffy and paranoid about the whole procedure. This is one of those drugs where one of the possible 'side effects' is stroke. Yeah, it's a one in a million chance, but people in our family have a knack for the medically improbably.
Anyway, we have to be at the hospital at 8:00 and the thing lasts a couple hours, and... I have no books. None. There is nothing in this house I haven't already read. Okay, I think, I'll just take a notebook with me and write. Except... I have nothing. Not a damn thing. No muses, no bunnies, no inklings of ideas. Nada.
