May 7 is Free Comic Book Day, and I've already made plans to drag Mom into Richmond to see KoH.

Finished reading the haul I got on Thursday. Dear lord, I am in LOVE with Supreme Power. Just, yes, heart, love, good lord, wow. *bg* From the black helicopters following the faux!Kents home, to Stanley's mom, to Kyle's first impression of his meeting with Mark ("Daddy?" And, of course, calling the most powerful being on the planet a "Prick") this is such an amazing book.

Heard from my Comic Book Guy that Gotham Central has been okayed for at least another ten issues. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Nightwing 107 was kind of... disturbing for some reason. Liked it though, Dick angst is always good, doncha know? *eg*

The Omac Project... I'm reserving passing judgment on any of the Crisis stuff until I see more how it's going to come together. The main plot is sounding awfully familiar though, didn't we go through this with Batman before?

Birds of Prey 81 - I'm sorry, was there a story of some sort in there. I was constantly distracted by Dinah's breasts.

I've learned to take a wait and see attitude with Mindhunters and a release date. I won't believe it's coming out on May 6 until I'm actually in the theater watching it.

...what? If I had five bucks for every time the release date shifted, I could almost afford a non-matinee showing. ;-)
