My brain is fried.

Completely fried.

And, not in the good, 'Oh, look, there's 65 new Vig/Orli stories coming out this weekend!' kind of way, though I'm thinking overdosing on anglicandoorway fic did help keep me sane last night.

I took a vacation day on Thursday. It was lovely. Bought some books, saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (ohmygodlovejohnnydeepyesido), found the first Global Frequency trade waiting for me at the comic shop -- happy day.

Then, I got back into the office on Friday to find that my computer had crashed.

Somehow, between 5 pm Wednesday, and 8:45 am Friday, something had happened to my computer.

I had to re-install Windows.

Everything is gone.

All the files, pictures, flyers, letters, management stuff poof

I haven't cried yet, but then again I'm not really sure it's fully sunk in.

I found out later that one of the agents had let her -- think Veruca Salt, but without the accent -- grandchildren run free there Wednesday evening. They tore a supposedly permanently attached whiteboard from the wall. The mind boggles at what they could have done to my poor, defenseless, little computer.

I need more porn. And Sims2. And cookie dough.
