Aug. 11th, 2005 04:00 pmSix shots later...
Six FREAKIN' shots later...
Had to get a tetnus in my left arm (which now cannot be raised above shoulder height), a rabies shot in my right arm, and two rabies shots in each butt cheek. Ow.
Have to get another on Saturday, then another on Wenesday, then another on the Wenesday after that, then I skip a week, then get my last shot on the first Wenesday in September. At least the rest can all go in my arm. :P

Date: 2005-08-12 06:41 pm (UTC)Ooooh, DO NOT get me started on the nurses I had to deal with. The doctors were fine, but the nurses...
One of them wondered, very loudly, why I was bothering with shots if there was no evidence I had been bitten. Excuse me?! Yes, why don't I ignore what the HEALTH DEPARTMENT, and the CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL suggest and listen to some old, bitter cow who obviously forgot that being a nurse means you HELP people. Grrr. I was forced to bring out my inherent bitchyness and smack them into submission. After that, they were really nice.

Date: 2005-08-13 12:28 am (UTC)Sure- you should have waited until you were actually foaming at the mouth at biting people... Sheesh!
Stories like this make me glad of those 16 nurses I've got dismembered in my root cellar... *g*
