10... Days... Gurgh....

I am so nowhere near ready for this whole 'Christmas' thing. I've got the immediate family gifts done, but everyone else is still flapping in the breeze. I haven't even bought holiday cards, yet alone actually mailed them to anybody. The house needs to be cleaned, cookies need to be baked, relatives need to be called... ARGH!

At least some of the decorations are up. Um, is it wrong to have Christmas lights on while pumpkins are still on the front porch? Just wondering.

Also, Sam Seder from Air America was on CNN the other day and had this to say about the "War on Christmas".

Listen, as far as the war on Christmas goes, I feel like we should be waging a war on Christmas. I mean, I believe that Christmas, it's almost proven that Christmas has nuclear weapons, can be an imminent threat to this country, that they have operative ties with terrorists and I believe that we should sacrifice thousands of American lives in pursuit of this war on Christmas. And hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money.
