What type of Fae are you?

I am... so... sore.

Woke up yesterday to the lovely sight of soap suds covering the floor in the downstairs bathroom/laundry room. Called the plumber that does work for my office, and was told someone would be out in the afternoon.

Now, this is not a little room. It was originally the back porch when the house was built. It's roughly 11'x8' and was fully carpeted (don't ask). I say was, because that's what I did yesterday morning. Took up the carpet. The wet, heavy, ugly-as-sin from the late seventies carpet. By myself. Which is probably why I can't move too well today. Advil anyone?

*sigh*

Found out the drain for the entire house was clogged--which is really not all that surprising considering it had never been cleaned out before, and had over a hundred years of muck passing through it--but the guy snaked it and everything's working again. For now. I had always assumed that all the old old pipes were copper, but yesterday Mom told me that the pipes leading from the house are still the original terra cotta. Terra cotta. Oh, I'm sure those don't need to be replaced, or anything. Urgh.

The one good thing out of all of this was, now we have to remodel the bathroom. I want tile, and I want it now, dammit.

But, everything happens for a reason . . . now you get your new bathroom!
