Devil's Trap (Spoilers)

saoneFinally was able to watch Devil's Trap.
Gah.
And, guh.
And, geeez!
Sam? John? Junkyard Bobby? I know how chick-flicky it would be but the poor guy obviously needs it.

Dean wanted to grow up to be a fireman. Of course he did.
Dean's face after he killed the male demon in the ally--cold, ruthless, efficient. There was no hesitation, no second guesses. And the subsequent confession at the cabin. Sometimes he scares himself. Oh, WOOBIE!
The way Sam slid over to stand behind big brother--he looked so small, and scared in that scene.
Uh... normally I'm all about the brothers, but... possessed!John was kinda hot.
Jensen Ackles' acting. Good night, did that boy steal the show, or what? I know his lips are a force unto themselves, but I couldn't tear myself away from his eyes. Emote, harden-killer-emo-boy, emote!
Sam chose his brother over revenge. There is very little doubt in my mind that if Dean had not confessed how much he needed John, Sam would have pulled the trigger.
The Nitpicky Bit:
Okay, what the hell was up with Junkyard Bobby and Sam's objections to exorcising Meg? Yes, if they got rid of the demon, an innocent girl would die, but if they didn't that same innocent girl would remain hostage in her own body. And, I'm glad, for Dean's sake, the first thing Meg said afterwards was Thank You.
Overall, I really, really liked it. I didn't find the ending nearly as bad as some people did. *shrug* Since they don't know if Jeffery Dean Morgan is coming back next year (damn you Grey's Anatomy), the car accident does leave everything nice and open for any possibilities. At least the song playing was Bad Moon Rising, and not Stairway to Heaven.
And, how about the first thing any surviving Winchesters do, after they get healed up, is get a Devil's Trap inked somewhere on their bodies so there's no more of that pesky possession among family members thing. Hmmm?
Here's hoping they officially announce a second season soon, so I can stop gnawing on my fingernails.
