The same thing happened here about two years ago, but luckily only the outer boundary wall was knocked down, no damage to the actual office building,
He hit hard enough to crack the bricks on the outside, crack the plaster on the inside, and slightly bow out the wall. That's the downstairs bathroom (thankfully no one was answering any calls of nature at that time). There are a few cracks in the room above that also, and a contractor's coming out to check the overall structure and foundation. We're just lucky he did hit the brick part, though. My office is in a converted 2-story cape, and a couple of feet to the left of where he hit is a walled in former back porch made up of just wood, plaster, and siding. He could have gone through that, probably killing, if not severly injuring the people in the office above (including his girlfriend), and ended up next door in the first story of the bed and breakfast.
Grrrrrr. hate stupid people.
Good luck with the insurance people !!!!
Oh, don't worry. The cop told the woman that if she didn't give up her info she'd be charged with leaving the scene of an accident. She co-operated after that. *g*
I guess if you're posting this you're not hurt? *hopes so*
Nah, not hurt. *g* Was wired as all hell, though. :D
