Of interest only to people in VA, for now, but with talk about George Allen possibly making a run for president in '08, thought I'd spread the hate.


Three former college football teammates of Sen. George Allen say that the Virginia Republican repeatedly used an inflammatory racial epithet and demonstrated racist attitudes toward blacks during the early 1970s.

That'll probably be in the Washington Post, but it'll be interesting if anything makes it into the Richmond paper.

Well, not only in the interest of VA, but the world. I'm Mexican and dislike racism here, there, and everywhere. Thanks for letting people know, for not letting us forget, ever.

True, but this particular racist should be of extra interest to people of Virginia since he's trying to get re-elected to the Senate in November. Hopefully enough people will realize that in this case 'good ole boy' can indeed equal racist jerk, and we can kick him to the curb. A loss in his home state should diminish those '08 inspirations.
