First Look at CE as CA

Just when I thought that the only way to appease my new-ish Chris Evans obsession was to watch The Losers - again - we get our first pics of him in character from the Captain America set.

(pics are spoilerish if you don't know Cap's story already)










Good lord, I'm just imagining the Steve/Tony epics that will be out a year from now. ;D


It looks like this scene takes place right after his transformation, hence the short pants and ultra tight undershirt. At least we now know that he can pull off the look of the character, and from interviews, specifically this quote -

“It's absolutely one character, I think he's Steve through and through, even after he goes through the transformation. I think you want the audience, even in the final frame of the film, to look at him and see the little guy,” he explained. “That's what I think is endearing.”

I have high hopes that he can pull off the essence of Cap too.

These pics being set post-transformation would help to explain the Hobbit feet he's got going on there.

I keep hoping against hope that Chris managed to get Scott a minor role in the movie, but I haven't heard anything. Sigh.

Hee. They're some kind of booties because if he was really running around alleys and streets barefoot they'd have to keep stopping production to pick glass out of his feet.

While that would be awesome, I really want Scott to get stuff on his own instead of a "yeah, he's the star's brother" kind of deal. Although, I wouldn't mind if he started showing up at Chris' premieres, as long as, you know, he gets someone else to dress him. ;D

I literally could not look at that picture for more than a few seconds, but even lightening fast reflexes with the scroll wheel couldn't save me because the horror is IMPRINTED ON MY BRAIN! 0_0

I'm not a regular reader - Steve Rogers isn't Captain America in regular continuity right now anyway - but the character has grown on me over the past few years, especially during Marvel's whole Civil War mess.

The one that I read, and loved, was THE TRUTH, which had a Black Captain. Regular version seems very American (obviously) and Uber-patriotic, which makes other countries worry a lot about y'all *g*

No-one better shoot Chris Evans dead, or I will have words!!

btw- THE LOSERS comes here (straight to dvd) in 2 weeks...
