First Look at CE as CA
Sep. 25th, 2010 07:46 pmJust when I thought that the only way to appease my new-ish Chris Evans obsession was to watch The Losers - again - we get our first pics of him in character from the Captain America set.
(pics are spoilerish if you don't know Cap's story already)

Good lord, I'm just imagining the Steve/Tony epics that will be out a year from now. ;D
It looks like this scene takes place right after his transformation, hence the short pants and ultra tight undershirt. At least we now know that he can pull off the look of the character, and from interviews, specifically this quote -
“It's absolutely one character, I think he's Steve through and through, even after he goes through the transformation. I think you want the audience, even in the final frame of the film, to look at him and see the little guy,” he explained. “That's what I think is endearing.”
I have high hopes that he can pull off the essence of Cap too.
*fingers crossed*

Date: 2010-09-26 12:20 pm (UTC)Ah, that would make sense. I remember seeing the Hobbit feet pic show up on a site and people were like "OMGWTF is up with his feet?"
While that would be awesome, I really want Scott to get stuff on his own instead of a "yeah, he's the star's brother" kind of deal. Although, I wouldn't mind if he started showing up at Chris' premieres, as long as, you know, he gets someone else to dress him. ;D
Yeah, you've got a point. Though I would love to see them play brothers in a movie at some point together. And you don't like a man who can match his shirt and tie? ;D
