According to Newsarama there's going to be a new Gambit series premiering in September.

A quote from John Laymen, the new writer - "Well, when I was thinking about all those characteristics I thought appealing about Gambit, it was hard to disconnect him from New Orleans, the place where he hails from, since you can describe them both in the same way: sleazy, sensual, decadent, likeably corrupt, with equal potential for fun and trouble."

*Sigh* It's been so long since I showed even a passing interest in any X-person, but this sounds like it's going to stand alone, and have "No cosmic B.S., no continual squabbles with various guilds, no persecuted mutant angst, no moping and pining over untouchable lost love." So, jeez, I might have to add another title to my hold list.

*Firmly tells brain, no, Dick's road trip will not take him through New Orleans.*

Hey,

Sounds Kewl. Looks like Harry Connick Jnr and David Boreanaz are *still* top choices for Gambit in X3...

Speaking of Boreanaz and road-trips through New Orleans... you wouldn't be adding more chapters to your "SILVER SOUTHERN MOON" fic soon, would you? I've been on the edge of my seat for over a year now, and it's starting to chafe!

Gav!

btw- CAR MAN- saw your post with Charles. Looks like a very clever, Gay reworking of CARMEN (geddit?!) with Will Kemp snogging and fucking the duplicitous title guy. Will's no stranger to genderfucking the classics- he played the Swan in Matthew Bourke's Gay version of SWAN LAKE...
